Wingate's Nutter Named South Atlantic Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for meets competed in during the fourth week of the season. Wingate's Scott Nutter was named the runner of the week. 

Nutter, a sophomore from Blencogo, United Kingdom, led the No. 7 Bulldogs to a 12th place finish at the mostly Division I Lehigh Paul Short Run last week. The Bulldogs were the second-best division II team in the field of 46, and Nutter set the Wingate program record in the 8k event, finishing with a time of 23:35.3.
