Wingate's Wharton Named South Atlantic Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for meets competed in during the sixth week of the season. Wingate's Shaun Wharton was named the runner of the week. 

Wharton, a junior from Concord, N.C., led the Bulldogs to a second place finish as a team and he finished ninth individually at the Bulldog Stampede. Wharton completed the 8k course in a time of 27:24.37.
