2022 SAC Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships Set for Saturday, November 5
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – On Saturday (November 5) teams will once again toe the starting line to race for the 2022 SAC Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships.
This year's championships will be hosted by Catawba College and will be run at Salisbury Community Park in Salisbury, N.C. The women will be first to race with their 6k meet beginning at 9 a.m., followed by the men's 8k race at 10:30 a.m.
Leading the way in this year's men's race will be the nationally ranked No. 4 Bulldogs of Wingate. In addition to being nationally ranked No. 1 in the Southeast Region. Also ranked regionally are Anderson at No. 3, Catawba at No. 6, Lincoln Memorial at No. 9, and Lenoir-Rhyne at No. 10.
The Wingate women's team will highlight the women's race with the Bulldogs being nationally ranked at No. 10. In addition to their national ranking, they are also the top team in the Southeast region, followed by Anderson at No. 4, Catawba at No. 5, Lenoir-Rhyne at No. 6, and Lincoln Memorial at No. 10.
