UVA Wise’s Douglas Earns SAC Men’s Cross Country Wealth Enhancement Group Elite 23 Award
ROCK HILL, S.C. (theSAC.com) - UVA Wise's Chad Douglas has been named the recipient of the 2025 South Atlantic Conference Men's Cross Country Wealth Enhancement Group Elite 23 Award.
The Elite 23 Award honors the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average (based on a minimum of 48 credit hours) in each of the league's 23 team championship sports.
Douglas, a junior accounting major from Wise, Virginia, carries a perfect 4.00 GPA through 76 credit hours at UVA Wise. A key contributor for the Cavaliers, he finished 49th overall at the 2025 SAC Men's Cross Country Championship with a time of 29:10.55, helping UVA Wise secure a fifth-place team finish.
