The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf SAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week, Mar. 2

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Mars Hill guard Camille Glymph has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Feb. 23-Mar. 1, the League announced today.

Glymph, a senior from Greenville, S.C., registered 32.3 points per game and shot 46 percent from the floor to lead the Lions to a 2-1 record last week.  Against Brevard on Feb. 26, Glymph tied the South Atlantic Conference All-Time single-game record with 45 points as Mars Hill defeated the Tornados, 88-42.  She shot 65 percent from the floor and 9-of-17 from three-point range, to go along with four steals and a block against the Brevard.  Two days later at Lenoir-Rhyne, she stayed hot with 37 points, seven rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal.  Glymph opened her week on Feb. 23 with 15 points, three assists, two steals and a block as Mars Hill defeated Tusculum, 82-61.  The honor is her second Player of the Week selection this season.
