The South Atlantic Conference Posts Two Teams in the 2016 NCAA Women's Basketball Championship

ROCK HILL, S.C. - The South Atlantic Conference posted a pair of women's squads in the 2016 NCAA Women's Basketball Championship, the NCAA announced today.

Anderson, the SAC Regular-Season Champions, earned an at-large bid and the No. 5 seed in the Southeast Region and will take on No. 4 Clayton State.

Wingate, who claimed the SAC Women's Basketball Tournament Championship and automatic bid, are the No. 6 seed in the Southeast Region and will play Columbus State, the No. 3 seed.

The 2016 NCAA Championship Southeast Regional will be played at top-seeded Limestone with games on March 11, 12 and 14.  Times are to be determined.
