Carson-Newman's Marosites Named Astroturf Women's Basketball Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) –The South Atlantic Conference announced the AstroTurf Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the fourteenth week of the 2019-20 season. Carson-Newman's Kayla Marosites earns this week's Player of the Week honor.

A senior guard, Marosites helped lead the Eagles to a perfect 2-0 conference record this past weekend. She put up 25 points and 13 rebounds against Catawba, while adding 18 points and 13 rebounds verses Lenoir-Rhyne. Overall the Elizabethton Tenn. native pulled together 43 points while shooting 54.5 percent from the floor. This is Marosites fourth Player of the Week honor of the season.
