Carson-Newman and Tusculum Ranked in D2SIDA Regional Women's Basketball Poll
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) - Carson-Newman and Tusculum remain ranked in this week's D2SIDA Southeast Regional Women's Basketball Poll.
The Eagles who are 10-1 overall moved up one spot to No. 3, while the Pioneers 11-2 overall, dropped four spots to No. 6.
Based on a vote by the National Committee, each region will now rank their Top 6 teams going forward to match the number of teams the NCAA will be taking from each region for the national tournament.
Below is this week's D2SIDA Women's Basketball Southeast Region Poll. Due to the NCAA's recent announcement that they will realign the regions for the postseason, the D2SIDA National Committee has decided that we will end our public regional polls a week earlier than usual, which means this week's regional polls will be the last ones that will be posted.
