Lenoir-Rhyne's Harman Named Final South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the 2020-21 Season
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) –The South Atlantic Conference announced the AstroTurf Women's Basketball Player of the Week for games played in the final regular season week of the 2020-21 season. Lenoir-Rhyne's Emily Harman earns this week's Player of the Week honor.
A freshman guard Harman, helped lead the Bears to a 2-0 conference record this past weekend. She picked up 12 points, nine rebounds and nine assists versus Newberry, while garnering 29 points, eight rebounds and four assists at Queens. Harman played a total of 70 minutes and averaged 20.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game. Overall, the Chesapeake, Va., native averaged 56.5 percent from the floor, while also going 9-for-10 from the free-throw line. This is Harman's first Player of the Week honor this season.
