Wingate's Troutman Named South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Women's Basketball Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) –The South Atlantic Conference announced the AstroTurf Women's Basketball Player of the Week for games played in the fourth week of the 2021-21 season. Wingate's Bryanna Troutman earns this week's Player of the Week honor.

A junior forward Troutman, helped lead the Bulldogs to 94-50 win over Limestone. She picked up 30 points, 13 rebounds and an assist all in the first 25 minutes of play. Troutman played a total of 25 minutes and averaged 30.0 points, 13.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game. Overall, the Salisbury, N.C., native averaged 68.8 percent from the floor, while also going 11-for-16 from the field. This is Troutman's first Player of the Week honor this season.
