Wingate's Troutman Named South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Women's Basketball Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) –The South Atlantic Conference announced the AstroTurf Women's Basketball Player of the Week for games played in the eighth week of the 2021-21 season, Wingate's Bryanna Troutman earns this week's Player of the Week honor.

A junior forward Troutman, helped lead the Bulldogs to a thrilling 63-61 win over UVA Wise this past Sunday. She picked up 21 points and 10 rebounds in her 28 minutes of play, averaging 21.0 points and 10.0 rebounds per game. Overall, the Salisbury, N.C., native averaged 40.0 percent from the floor, while also going 8-for-20 from the field. This is Troutman's second Player of the Week honor this season.
