Wingate's Troutman Named South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Women's Basketball Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) –The South Atlantic Conference announced the AstroTurf Women's Basketball Player of the Week for games played in the tenth week of the 2021-21 season, Wingate's Bryanna Troutman earns this week's Player of the Week honor.

A junior forward Troutman, helped lead the Bulldogs to 2-0 record this past weekend. She picked up 31 points, two assists and nine rebounds in their win over Coker, while garnering 21 points and seven rebounds in a thrilling win over Anderson. Overall, the Salisbury, N.C., native averaged 45.2 percent from the floor, 26.0 points per game and 8.0 rebounds per game. This is Troutman's third Player of the Week honor this season.
