Wingate and Catawba Ranked in WBCA NCAA DII Top 25 Coaches' Poll
ROCK HILL (TheSAC.com) - The Wingate Bulldogs and the Catawba College Indians are ranked at No. 16 and No. 17 respectively, in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) NCAA Division II Poll released on Tuesday (Feb. 1).
The Wingate Bulldogs went 9-9 in conference play and 10-10 overall in the 2020-21 season. The Catawba Indians went 9-2 in conference play and 11-4 overall last season while also making and NCAA regional semifinal appearance.
The Bulldogs, are ranked first and have a conference record of 16-0 and an overall record of 18-1 while the Catawba Indians are currently ranked second in SAC play (13-2) and a 16-2overall record.
