Anderson's McDowell Named SAC WePlayed Sports Women's Basketball Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Anderson forward Diamond McDowell has been named the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Women's Basketball Player of the Week for games played during week two of the 2023-34 season, the Conference announced today.

McDowell, a junior from Asheboro, N.C., averaged 19.5 points, 12 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 3.5 steals and 1.5 blocked shots to help the Trojans pick up wins over Young Harris and Emmanuel. McDowell shot 53.1 percent from the field, including 50 percent from behind the arc.
