Lenoir-Rhyne's Jones Named South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Women's Basketball Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Lenoir-Rhyne's Mikeba Jones has been named the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the fourteenth week of the 2023-34 season, the Conference announced today.

Jones, a senior from Fort Wayne, Ind., helped the Bears to a 2-0 week with wins against No. 12 Catawba and Mars Hill. Jones recorded a 20-point, seven rebound game in the victory over the Catawba Indians then scored 19 points to lead the Bears to a 59-57 win over Mars Hill. Jones averaged 5.5 rebounds on the week and collected a total of three assists and three steals.
