Wingate, Anderson, Lincoln Memorial, Carson-Newman Recognized in Latest WGCA Division II Coaches Poll
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Women's golf programs from the South Atlantic Conference were well represented in the most recent Mizuno WGCA Division II Coaches Poll, released Friday. Wingate and Anderson again landed in the top five nationally, while Lincoln Memorial and Carson-Newman also earned votes.
Wingate climbed to No. 2 with 351 points and nine first-place votes, rising from No. 3 in the previous poll. Anderson sits at No. 5 with 282 points and two first-place votes, after being ranked No. 2 last time.
In addition, Carson-Newman received 5 votes, and Lincoln Memorial received 2 votes in the "Others Receiving Votes" portion of the poll.
