Queens Duo Claims SAC Women’s Lacrosse Weekly Honors
Queens attacker Abigail Paulus and goalkeeper Danielle Horoschak have been named the SAC Women’s Lacrosse Players of the Week after the Royals went 2-1 against non-conference opponents last week, it was announced on Monday.

SAC Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week | Abigail Paulus, Queens
Paulus finished with eight goals and three assists for a total of 12 points last week for Queens. She scored two goals in a 15-10 Royals win over No. 4 Rollins on Monday, finished with four goals and two assists in a Wednesday loss to Limestone, and tallied two goals and two assists on Friday in a 17-5 win against Tampa.
Paulus finished with a shot percentage of 66.7-percent and a shot-on-goal percentage of 91.7-percent. She is tied for the SAC lead in both goals and points.
SAC Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week | Danielle Horoschak, Queens
Horoschak finished with a total of 24 saves in Queens' three matches last week, going 2-1 in the goal for the Royals.
The junior stopped 10 shots in Queens' loss to Tampa, and recorded seven saves apiece against Rollins and Tampa. She finished with a save percentage of 49.0-percent, and also picked up one ground ball.
On the season, Horoschak's 24 saves are tied for second in the conference.
