Wingate Ranked in ILWomen/ IWLCA DII Preseason Poll

ROCK HILL, S.C. (theSAC.com) - The Wingate Bulldogs were ranked among the ILWomen/ IWLCA DII Preseason top 25, announced Monday (January 29).

The Bulldogs earned the No. 11 ranking after finishing the 2023 season with a perfect 10-0 conference record and 17-2 overall. They were also crowned the 2023 SAC Women's Lacrosse Champions.

Newberry was listed as recieving votes in the preseason poll.

Women's Division II play begins on Saturday, February 3, and continually ramps up over the course of the month of February.

The regular season ILWomen/IWLCA Division II Polls are set to be released weekly at 11 a.m. beginning on Monday, February 19.
