The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf SAC Women’s Soccer Player of the Week, Sept. 12

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Lenoir-Rhyne Goalkeeper Andrea Leano has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week for games played Sep. 5 – Sept. 11, the League announced today.
Leano, a senior from San Diego, CA, allowed just one goal in 200 minutes and averaged 0.45 goals against during the week. Leano recorded eight saves on 15 shots in a 1-1 draw against North Georgia on September 7th. Leano also recorded a 4-0 shutout victory against USC Aiken on September 10th. The award is her first Player of the Week plaudit of the season.
