The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf SAC Women’s Soccer Player of the Week, Sept. 26
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Carson-Newman forward Julianne Herrity has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week for games played Sep. 19 – Sept. 25, the League announced today.
The senior from Donegal, Ireland, helped lead the Carson-Newman Eagles to wins over Mars Hill and Queens University last week. Herrity scored two goals in the 8-0 win over Mars Hill on September 21st and kicked in a pair of goals against Wingate on September 24th. She now has scored multiple goals in three consecutive contests and has five total multi-goal gams this season. Herrity also leads the South Atlantic Conference with 28 points and 13 goals. The award is her first Player of the Week plaudit of the season.
