LR and Catawba Remain Nationally Ranked
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) -- For the fourth straight week, Lenoir-Rhyne and Catawba are nationally ranked women's soccer programs as the United Soccer Coaches announced its weekly poll. This is the fourth poll of the season released by the organization.
Lenoir-Rhyne jumped up two spots from No. 11 to No. 9 in this week's poll. The Bears tied nationally-ranked Columbus St. 2-2 on Wednesday and followed that with a 1-0 win over Wingate on Saturday to improve to 4-0-3 overall and 2-0-1 in the SAC.
Catawba also moved up two spots from No. 19 to No. 17. Catawba has an identical overall and SAC record as the Bears and handed Limestone a 5-0 defeat in their only match last week.
