Lincoln Memorial’s Ann Sophie Indeherberge Named Women’s Tennis Player Of The Week

ROCK HILL, SC -- Lincoln Memorial University's Ann Sophie Indeherberge has been named the South Atlantic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the week ending April 18, 2010.

Indeherberge, a senior from ZonHoven, Belgium (Midwestern State), went 5-1 last week, with three wins at No. 3 singles and going 2-1 at No. 1 doubles, improving her record to 19-0 for the season in singles and 15-3 in doubles.

She defeated King's Crystal Harwell 6-1, 6-0, Georgetown College's Kaitlyn Thompson 1-6, 6-1, 6-1 and Lee's Kelsey Gray 6-4, 6-1. With partner Sofia Lopez Mimendi, she defeated King's Brittany Cooper and Kristen Crifasi 8-6, Georgetown's Angy Cuellar and Polina Babkina 8-1, and fell to Lee's Kara Staskelis and Kelli Ferguson 5-8.
