Wingate's Kosmrlj Named South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Women's Tennis Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Wingate's Chloe Kosmrlj has been named the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played during week six of the 2024 season, the Conference announced today.

Kosmrlj, a senior from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, went 2-0 in singles and doubles as the No. 14 Bulldogs defeated No. 25 Embry-Riddle (4-1) and lost a tough match to No. 2 Nova Southeastern (5-2). Kosmrlj knocked off the No. 6 singles player in the nation, 7-6 (6-0), 6-2 at No. 2 singles from Nova Southeastern and picked up a 6-2, 6-4 win over Embry-Riddle at No. 2. In doubles action, Kosmrlj and her partner won both their matches at No. 2 doubles.
