Harrogate, TN- LMU Women's Volleyball wrapped up their regular season tonight, beating Coker: 25-21, 26-24, 25-12.
The first set featured some back-and-forth action, with LMU eventually stringing together several points to take the 1-0 lead. The second set featured even more of this. 14 ties and nine lead changes later, kills from Agata Bogdanska and Abigail Kesler managed back-to-back kills to seal the second. The third set was all LMU, hitting 0.370 in the frame to finish off the job.
Kristen Moehring would earn 14 kills on a .371 percentage on the night. Bogdanska (12 kills on a .450 attack percentage) and Kelser (10 kills) would join her in double-digits. Setter Lauren Pickett would go error-free in the contest, picking up 37 assists. Josibeth Capellan would also contribute, gathering three total blocks and seven kills of her own.
Lincoln Memorial moves to 17-8 on the season, 11-7 in conference play. Official word for the South Atlantic Conference Women's Volleyball Championship will be released following the last regular season play, finishing tomorrow. Regardless, the first round will begin on Tuesday, November 19th, at the higher seed's campus sites.
