WePlayed Sports Volleyball Players of the Week Announced for Week Eleven

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its WePlayed Sports Volleyball Players of the Week for matches played during the final week of the 2024 regular season. Wingate's Sydney Morland was named the Offensive Player of the Week while Lincoln Memorial's Agata Bogdanska brought home Defensive Player of the Week honors.

Morland, a sophomore from Colorado Springs, Colo., capped her incredible regular season with two more dominant matches, taking over the national lead in hitting percentage. Morland needed just 28 swings to pile up 22 kills, hitting a ridiculous .750 in the two matches while averaging 3.67 kills per set. Morland had 11 kills in 15 swings in the Coker sweep, while notching 11 kills in just 13 swings in the Emory & Henry win. Morland is hitting a nation's-best .458 on the year, a SAC record that leads the conference by 50 points over her teammate Emily Johnson at .408.

Bogdanska, a senior from Krakow, Poland., helped power the Railsplitters to a 2-0 week to close out the regular season. She had a massive performance in a win over UVA Wise, totaling eight blocks and adding a pair of digs. She added two more blocks in a sweep of Coker to give her 10 for the week, good for 1.43 per set. She added 22 kills offensively and hit .349 with two assists.
