Five SAC Schools Ranked in USTFCCCA Women's Cross Country Poll

NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced week five of its Southeast Region Women's Cross Country Poll on Tuesday (Oct. 15.)

Five teams from the South Atlantic Conference were represented in the poll, including preseason favorite, Queens in the No. 1 spot for the fifth consecutive week. 

The SAC teams took the top-3 spots, with Wingate checking in at No. 2 and moving up four spots at No. 3 is Anderson. 

Rounding out the SAC teams in the poll are, Lenoir-Rhyne at No. 6 and entering the ranks at No. 10 was Catawba.  

The SAC cross country season is underway with meets leading all the way up to the SAC Championship Meet at the end of the month (Oct. 26.)
