Wingate's Orrock Named South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its AstroTurf Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for meets competed in during the sixth week of the 2021 season. Wingate's Lara Orrock was named runner of the week.

Orrock, a junior from Bloemfontein, South Africa, finished 3rd in the Royals Cross Country Challenge on Friday posting a new 5K school-record time of 17:07.3. This is Orrock's third Runner of the Week honor this season.
