Catawba's Clay Named South Atlantic Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for meets competed in during the second week of the season. Catawba's Madison Clay was named the runner of the week.

Clay, a freshman from Morganton, N.C., set a Catawba women's cross country record at the Converse Kick-off on Saturday. She won the 6k event with a time of 22.05, an average of 5:55.3 per mile.
