Carson-Newman’s Pittman Earns SAC Women’s Cross Country Wealth Enhancement Group Elite 23 Award
Carson-Newman University's Jenna Pittman has been named the recipient of the 2025 South Atlantic Conference Women's Cross Country Wealth Enhancement Group Elite 23 Award.
The Elite 23 Award honors the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average (based on a minimum of 48 credit hours) in each of the league's 23 team championship sports.
Pittman, a junior nursing major from Franklin, Tennessee, holds a perfect 4.00 GPA at Carson-Newman. A consistent performer for the Eagles, she finished 15th overall at the 2025 SAC Women's Cross Country Championship with a time of 24:35.70, helping Carson-Newman to a fifth-place team finish.
