The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf SAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week, Mar. 23

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Coker's Jessi Campos has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played March 16-22, the League announced today.

Campos, junior from Myrtle Beach, S.C, went a combined 6-0 on the week, which included leading Coker to three wins against SAC foes Lincoln Memorial, Catawba College and Brevard College.  She started the week with a 2-0 performance against LMU, which featured an 8-1 victory at No. 3 doubles and a 3-2 win due to retirement at No. 3 singles.  She followed that performance with another 2-0 outing the very next day against Catawba, registering an 8-1 win at No. 3 doubles and 6-2, 6-4 win at No. 3 singles.  She concluded her week with an 8-3 win at No. 3 doubles against Brevard and added a 2-6, 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 3 singles.  The award is her Player of the Week plaudit this season.
