The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf SAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week, Sept. 15
Tusculum defender Olivia Kilgore has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Women’s Soccer Player of the Week for games played Sept. 8-14, the League announced today.
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Tusculum defender Olivia Kilgore has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week for games played Sept. 8-14, the League announced today.
Kilgore, a sophomore from Cincinnati, Ohio, anchored the Pioneer defense that posted back-to-back shutouts in TC's two matches at the Saints Shootout. She was instrumental in Tusculum's scoreless draw against then 15th-ranked Tampa. Kilgore and the Pioneers snapped the nationally-ranked Spartans three-match winning streak to start the season. She continued her stellar defensive play two days later in Tusculum's 3-0 victory over NCAA Division II Southeast Region foe Flagler. On the week, Kilgore played in 190 of Tusculum's 200 minutes where the Pioneers did not allow a goal.
