The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf SAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week, Feb. 15

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Lincoln Memorial forward Megan Pittman has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Feb. 8-14, the League announced today.

Pittman, a junior from Liberty, Ken., averaged. 18.5 points per game and posted a pair of double-doubles for the Railsplitters last week.  At Tusculum on Feb. 10, Pittman poured in 22 points and ripped down 16 rebounds as Lincoln Memorial defeated Tusculum, 70-61.  She shot 56 percent from the floor in the win and came away with four steals.  She followed that effort with 15 points on 50 percent shooting to go along with 12 rebounds and two assists against Newberry on Feb. 13.

Pittman leads the League with 10.3 rebounds per game as she is averaging a double-double on the year with 12.3 points per outing.  The award is her first Player of the Week plaudit this season.
